The legend tells the story about Grand Duke Gediminas who went on a hunting trip. When the night came, he built a camp. At night he had a dream about an iron wolf howling on a mountain. Grand Duke's wizard Lizdeika told him, that it is a sign to built a castle there. Today the only remaining castles tower is the heart of Vilnius city.
