This picture trigges a lot of different emotions. I really like the coloring in combination with the lights on the structures!

The light is nice..but for me it would be better if the composition can include the base of the platform since the highlight of oil platforms are the pillars and the wave of the sea..

I actually agree that the base would have made it look a bit better, unfortunately this was a merge between two photos and I cut it as far down as possible. Also this wasn't taken on the ocean (just a refinery, not a platform), but that would have been a nice addition with the reflection on the waves.
