Description
Painted entirely with a round brush
. Critiques are well come though since this is my 1st hand painted armor, i was always intimidated by hand painting all them etals because they might look rough or so. I even tried to use lasso to make those embroid clean , but it doesnt work that way, thus this piece is a break through. I hand painted , and regardles the cleaniness, the details /clarity, and idea is there. Thus i think i am going to paint like that for most of my upcoming characters. Maybe clean stuff just aint a thing for me ^^.

actually most of my works are painted with an entire round brush as well, but they are not as justifiable as this i guess.

Thanks alot!, its really tough when some people give input about the roughness , and when stuff are too clean, it kinda kills a bit of my design intent. Really tough to way , but i guess ill just have to go with the flow ^^

Nice one tho 90% of my works hand painted with round brushes so for me that is not that big deal
Reminds me on Warhammer - some Tzeenth follower critter whose armour partially melted together with its flesh and body

i was used to get caught up with details i guess, slowly and steadily my draftmanship might be better than using lasso

Years ago I used to work with lasso, but it not worth for me unless I need to resize certain parts.
I prefer in an art if it has that paintery look - btw your works still feel often sketchy is it by will/style or other reasons?
Would love to see from you a clean detailed art where the details are sharp :>
