I don't like that show. For one thing, if one of them is missing the rest of the team is weak.
Two, why is Cronus the only villain in the series? And who's the douchebag *!#* who thought that
the place the gods hid is in a janitor's closet?

Team splits make for teamwork oriented plots and thats sort of a teletoon thing, and Cronus had lots of minions, he's just the playmaker

You know, I always wondered about Neil... What use is a pretty face in a battle to save the world? And I remember a snippet of the show where apparently Jay is doubting his own usefulness.
I mean, seriously. They all have roles like: Warrior, Leader, Scholar, and then... The Good-Looking? WTF?
Do you know if Neil ever does anything truly useful? And if so, would you please tell me about it? Because I'm not even a fan of the show, but the question has been plaguing me for months.

Neil has exceptionally good luck, and he can indeed fight, but mostly he's there for comic releif.

Actually, besides being good-looking, Neil is extraordinarily lucky, and he does make them a team of seven, as was prophesied would stop Cronus, the main bad guy(yes I'm a loser; I watch this show

After reading your comment, I noticed that CotT was coming on in 20min so I thought I'd sit down and watch an episode.... all I can say about that character is WTF?! Doesn't help but at least you're not alone in your confusion ; )

Neil doesn't really do anything, rather, he is an "inspiration" as he states in one episode. He gives the other team members ideas about how to solve things. Otherwise, he's useless.

Neil is useless, but he`s extremely lucky. He never does anything on purpose, like when he defeated a gorgon only by luck in one episode. So yeah, other than that, he`s rather useless.
