Description Some digital sketches of Nexia, my first jellyfish mermaid ever, a very old character I made quite a while ago. Sometime I will draw a detailed luminescent pic of her and all her poisonous deadliness -ess.. Thinking of renaming her Chiro so there isn't any confusion with Nex, my merguy of the same species... then there will be Chiro and Nex, which is the name of the species of jellyfish they are- Chironex.

changing her name will sound awesome, and that's a great way to educate people who do not know much about jellyfish. great job.

Hey, I like the idea of renaming her Chiro; having both Chiro(and)Nex is just a great idea. Anyway, concerning the sketches, they are very nice! ^^ I really like the transparency of the whole thing, and all the different poses are really neat. Great job!

Awesome! The way you draw mer-folk is incredible, and Nexia is no exception! She's bully! I like your name idea for Chiro and Nex, too! It's just one of those things, like finding out what somebody's name means, that you find out and you go "hey... that's pretty neat... I like it." XD Okay, I'll stop bothering you for the time being...

I LOVE the look of colors against black. Did some of my best work that way. Definitely dramatic!

I like the name idea! She looks like a Chiro, too. Its a good idea!

Very fluid! And Nex, of course, also looks stunning!

cool, she looks really good this mermaid-jellyfish. Nexia sounds like Nex's twin or something like that, very similiar name.

Yeh, She came way before Nex, but I use Nex as my avatar so I draw him more often.

yah, very much so. Chironex is the most deadly creature to ever exist. After being stung people can die in just 30 seconds... One touch = instant death.

wow... beautiful. the name change sounds cool. nifty idea to split up the scientific name. anyway, she's gorgeous here. the close up of her face is really good, and the positions are great. i also love how you made her look strong.
