ooh! okay i got a CRAPLOAD of art stuff for chirstmas so i tried something new for a change!medium used: graphic pencils
i wanted to try something new and a realistic lamia (wow... what an oxymoron!!) sounded cool.
this wasn't out of my ability range but it was kinda out of my comfort range... oh well!
the original is sooooooo much better... my scanner is trying to spite me..... it's working... *grr*
oh well! ENJOY!

trying new and different things is always a good thing to do. ^_^ i like the shading. i think you did a pretty good job w/it trying to be realistic and such. isn't as cartoony as other stuff.
