Description Title: Cautious
Size: 2.5"x3.5"
Medium: Pencil

I've drawn close to 200 of these miniature drawings, which are called ACEO. These drawings measure 2.5"x3.5", about the size of a baseball card. I love working on these cause they help me in improving my techniques. Well this is my newest one. By far this is one of my most detailed aceo. Ive put two pictures, a scan and an actual photograph so you get an idea of how small these are. Well i hope you enjoy this one.

That is amazing how much care and detail that you put into those little pieces of art! I would love for you to give me some tips on how to create the look of animal's fur with a pencil. I can't seem to figure out how to make it look so realistic. Thank you.

thank you so much. These drawings are much smaller so they force me to take my time and it helps me practice adding as much detail as possible.

This is a weird question, but when you draw these do you get lead all over your hand? I guess when you draw anything I suppose.

thank you. Well to avoid touching the drawing with my fingers or hand i put a piece of paper under my hand.

ahHA! That's a very good idea. I've used kleenex, but I smudged up my drawing >_< so I just try not to move the kleenex much.

Nice drawing. The slightly rough texture of the fur makes it look nice and wild, do you use an indenting method to get the fur?

it's quite funny actually, - it's almost exactly the same size as this duckling I am drawing right now
drawing little things is really great fun for some reason.
