Parroting: Having an opinion that's equivalent to another individual (mainly someone who's immensely popular) and constantly expressing it in the exact same manner.
There's a difference between expressing your opinion and parroting. When you express your opinion, it doesn't always have to be IMMENSELY the same as that of a more high-profile individual. I find parroting to be a horrible thing to do on-line. It's more harmful than you think.

Examples:
-The AVGN is so popular that people would claim that other reviewers are rip-offs.
-Speaking of AVGN, they'd hate on a game that was reviewed by the AVGN for the same reasons that he hates it.
-One person was slammed by the fans of a popular reviewer (won't say who) because the fan defended a certain cartoon. The fans hate that for the same reasons that the reviewer does.
-The Nostalgia Critic is also a prime example. People would take his views to heart and they'd apply his views to the movies he reviewed. Want some proof? Look here (mainly at the movies that were reviewed by the NC. sithvampiremaster27.deviantart…
-Beanfan112 and Invader-Wlanman goaded everyone into hating on Sanjay and Craig.
-There was, of course, the Spax3 issue, but he has redeemed himself. GuardianEarth was also notable for doing a similar thing.
-SilentRob was infamous for starting the Irate Gamer hate ordeal.

Now, if you like or hate something, that's your deal, I totally respect that, but try to make your own arguements.
