Yes, they're dragons. Yes, the dinosaurs haunt me. -_- But I draw dragons all the time, and this was something I just HAD to draw - these two are from a RP-fic of mine and Az the Dragon's. The green one is Nitro, and the blue one is Hydro (Haven't met him yet, but he looks too cool to be left out, heh). They're not in my usual style, because they live in the Chaos Realm and are kinda super-powerful. Guessed it yet? No? Yep, they're Chaos Emeralds. Didn't see that coming, did you?

Sonic ducked behind one of the pillars again, watching in awe as the green light solidified into a shape - coils and shimmering scales formed, endlessly shifting and changing, and then a thin head arched out into view, white eyes flashing briefly.
"Begin your report." The male light said, directing tiny beams of light over the surface of another glass panel.

Mmm, fun. So there they are! I had so much fun doing the auras and lighting effects that I just couldn't stop. *laugh*
This is getting long... okay, technicalities - Photoshop 7, no prizes for guessing. Line art in pencil, scanned and contrasted, then colouring, lighting, auras, background, stars, you name it - all in Photoshop. Oh yes, I am definitely addicted. ^^
