Skewed anatomy...There's a fair bit of digital editing on this since the original was quite messy, but it's still predominantly traditional. Heavily inspired by Skellig, the book and the TV movie - I recommend both.

Hmmm.... well done. Doesn't matter to me if the anatomy's skewed; to me, this wholly captures Skellig as we first meet him... I saw the movie before reading the book, though I'd been introduced to the book years ago by several teachers (only now, in college, got around to reading it, HA). I loved them both as well.

Not bad anatomy, better than mine lol! I love the shading.
Prefer the book by miles, but I liked the guy who played Skellig in the movie, he did a great job!

Yeah the book was brilliant - I liked the extra scenes in the film though. Tim Roth played Skellig, he's an awesome actor.

I liked some of the extra scenes. I thought the bit where they flew was a bit unnecessary though. I don't know, I just think it's the book's simplicity which makes it so beautiful. Tim Roth was nothing like I imagined Skellig to be, but in some ways he was better than my Skellig.

Ahh that's true, but I think people would have been disappointed if he hadn't! It's a visual thing. Speaking of, I was very impressed with the wings throughout.
And he was fairly different, but in a good way; I kind of prefer him too.

Hmmm, I had thought that while I was watching it, like in most films I guess. And yes, his wings were rather fantastic, although I had always imagined them to be a dirty white. I think theirs was better though!
