Joannita is a Capoeira fighter who is also a regular participant of both the Valkyrie Densetsu tournament series and the Neo-Fight League events during the Age of the Eternal War.

Hailing from New Mexico, Joannita has always been a fighter due to nearly being raped by her ex-boyfriend years earlier. She became a master of Capoeira but is very aggressive when it comes to fighting, especially hurting many of her opponents.

Mastering Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in order to make her a tough opponent, Joannita became a paritipant in the 2011 Valkyrie Densetsu War tournament which was being hosted by the Camorra criminal syndicate based from Sicily.

Pretty much a loner, Joannita was determined to win the $ 890 million reward yet her reputation attracts the attention of Jordan Vermillion due to hearing of her infamous exploits while she was in Sacremento for a time.

The Lion and the Capoeira fighter face each other during the Exhibition Matches where she held her own against the experienced Anatsukenryu Karate Master. Despite tackling him and putting him to several attempted joint locks, Joannita was soundly defeated by Jordan, who unleash a Shoryuken which KOs her moments later.

Furious at her defeat, Joannita refuses to accept Jordan as a great hero and trains herself to the extreme in order to murder the Lion of Anatsukenryu Karate since she views him as a someone worth killing.

She has become one of Jordan's most dangerous rivals since she is willing to go to the extreme in order to win, including either assaulting his friends or even working with more dangerous people while turning a blind eye to their reputations.
