This is.... amazing. I mean, .
How do equations on a keyboard turn into this? (Sorry if this is a silly question.)

In this case, I'm manipulating mathematical transformations on an abstract level that doesn't require that I work directly with the equations themselves. The equations are represented by "variations," which are precompiled code, and none of the code is something I see unless I want to dig into the source code for some reason.

Hah, I'm glad you like it! You're not one of the 12,173 (and counting) people who actually have been at a loss for words...or didn't comment...or didn't like it... XD

I have a massive compilation of tutorials and resources at the bottom left of my page that would help you get started using the software I'm using; I have written a few tutorials myself (which have their own section on that list) that would likely be of the most help, however I don't have any step-by-step ways to how I go about creating things.

Thank you very much! I am getting a Wacom tablet in a few months time, and i'm hoping i can start of from there.

Oh, this is fractal artwork -- not digitally painted artwork in the conventional sense -- there isn't any tablet required to make this type of artwork, though that doesn't mean it's necessarily easier to do so...

For the most part, it probably takes me anywhere from two to six days to make something. It's not necessarily that it takes ages, but sometimes things that you try working with happen to do nice things quickly, sometimes they take a while to whip into shape, and sometimes they take a really long while and still don't do anything!

I worry about the same thing too. And fire-related abilities, characters, etc. have become sort of cliche, but what you done here is fabulous. If your good then just out-light the others!

Haha, that's true enough, fighting fire with fire I suppose XD Some day I'll try my hand at drawing characters too XD

Use your ability to draw for your likes rather than what is harder for you. You will excel in what you like and be average one whats hard.

I always feel a need to challenge myself and not become complacent in what I am able to accomplish. Having said that, I've done less stylistic experimentation recently than I would like to have done, but I am enjoying what I'm working on now perhaps moreso than ever.
I work on creating artwork that I enjoy making. Much of what I enjoy doing now is a product of doing 'hard' things in the past. Wanting to do different things or challenging myself doesn't prevent me from pursuing things that I enjoy, or learning more tricks along the way ;D

Very beautiful. The colours are so subtle and there's really good contrast between the soft and sharp areas. Well done, pal.

Eventually I'll set up a website to sell prints. At the moment though, it's more of a priority for me to find a job and finish school than to worry about prints...

I love working with fire, although I tend to prefer fav.me/d75xn8c when it comes to a flagship fire piece of artwork XD There's just something really satisfying about using warm fire colors in artwork....

Ah, ok. Thanks for explaining. I was just wondering because I saw everyone in the comments guessing what it is/saying what it looks like but I never read anything that said what it actually was.
