Many people talked about the male's face which looks so girly / doll-like. I know that too. I just happened to grow up with Final Fantasy series and enjoy their characters. Most of the male ones there are bishonen like Squall, Cloud & Noctis so yeah, the faces of my male characters usually look very girly and that was my decision. I'm not offended by the comments of you guys though so don't worry
About the giant sword. I love it when male warriors weild big ass sword like Monster Hunter, so yeah
It really is impractical, but it looks badass to me and I'm happy with that XDThank you for your support.

I was actually thinking Soul Calibur, very distinctive style /look. If that ain't based on Nightmare's armor and sword. Works for Mosterhunter too I suppose.

Good work, chaosringen. Please don't feel pressurised by the puritanical 'oh this is so sexualised' and the braindead 'oh impractical armour' brigade. Block them if they bother too much.
Personally, if I don't like an artwork, I don't view it. It is an artists prerogative to make what he wants, and so if I don't like something, I just move on to something I do like. But some people insist on foisting their worthless opinions on us. Bah.

Why does she have a second shoulder pad, and he does not? The same reason he wears trousers and she does not: secondary gender markers?

Simply to entertain you:
He has a vastly larger sword, which he seems to be carrying with one arm. It makes sense that he'd drop any other extra weight off that arm by removing armor from his shoulder and arm.
Since trousers serve no purpose in function anyway, it's simply for style between genders. For practicality though... he probably has genitals the size of his sword, and needs more than simple underwear to conceal it, the girl doesn't.

Well, at least they are almost equally sexualized, expect God forbid a woman wears trousers or has muscles/is as toned as male in fantasy. And as cool as it looks, the male's sword is just fucking stupid. Yeah, I know, unrealistically giant swords are a thing in RPGs, but that is just ridiculous.
The drawing style and colouring are fantastic, though. If only you could dedicated to not sexualizing your characters, especially the women.

The sword is made of enchanted Mithril, so it is light. As for the swift rogue, he will get cut in two from 2 meters away. As they say in boxing: reach matters. a lot.

i`m not trying to be mean or something but...maybe you should try to approach a different face characteristic for the male . He is a Male, swordsman, but with that face , to me he looks like a doll. Again , not trying to be mean , i`m just saying . I love your art aniway, just wanted to let you know about this particular one.

The face of a warrior? Because someone being a warrior, or not, changes how their face looks. Someone's face is based off their genetics, not whether they decided to take up arms or not. You have a problem with the man having a handsome face, but no problem with the woman having a pretty one? Nice.

Understood what? You didn't give him any 'help'. You just gave a vague explanation that YOU didn't like the male's face. And your only reason for this, was that his face was too pretty, not befitting of a warrior. Yet, for some reason, the female's face is okay?
You didn't say it looked 'weird' to you. You specifically said that he should draw a different face, because of YOUR preconceived notion of what a 'warrior' face is. There is no such thing as a 'warrior' face. And as I pointed out, you had no problem with the female.
It's completely disrespectful for you to tell an artist to change the way he draws something, not because he didn't draw it well, but because of YOUR personal preference compared to the millions of others out there.
I'm just pointing out your irrational criticism, and now you're getting all sensitive. I guess I was right. If you dont want to argue about 'a picture over the internet', dont state your opinion. If you state an opinion, you open yourself up for people to reply to that opinion, especially if it's stupid.
