I love the perspective on this photo! We are forced to "look up" making us feel small and this metal beanstalk seem giant....it automatically makes the viewer recall the stories of Jack and the Beanstalk. The clouds in the sky was I feel not an accident. I believe you planned it well so that the Beanstalk would look like it was rising to and reaching the clouds. Thus also playing into the observers observation of feeling small next to this giant beanstalk.

The lighting is very well chosen. It makes a complex and 3d shape out of a flat black fence.

It looks like the logo for the computer program Lightwave! you should do that, change it to the logo (only slightly different) and them make them buy it off you!

The composition is excellent, i guess that the fence isn't really big, but from our point of view, it's looking huge.
... but don't you think it's a bit too dark? Personaly, i would have prefer a brighter sky.

Karl Blossfeld gonna has made photographs of plants 1n 1920 and theres this polystichum munitum,a shield fern...only in front perspective,but this here is a really worthy tribute to this great photographer of the first half of the last century_!

A little more lighting on the metal (Which could be done with some easy dodging in either PShop or the darkroom) and this would be perfect.
