I should be working on my commissions now, but I got...distracted.
While caroline was submittting one of her latest drawings on deviantart yesterday, I decided to draw one of her lovely characters again!
I am actually very satisfied with how this guy turned out
But OF COURSE I wasn't able to draw this "masterpiece" without a great reference!
As it happens I found a lovely picture of a pretty handsome fellow, playing the role of Louis XIV ( who was the king of France, blabla I suppose you all know who he is XD ) and I liked it so much - especially his nose - that I just had to draw it! I gave him a pointy elf ear et voilà!

I found this photo in a history magazine. I've never heard of this actor before but I think he's awesome!
Anyway, let's go back to finishing that commission for *Aarok now!!

Oh, I love that you used one of my ancestors (well, an actor portraying him) as a reference. No kidding, descendant of Le Roi Soleil here (and it's as if the family is NEVER getting rid of that nose, even this many generations later..)
