yes, he is rather lovely isn't he, though he can be a pain in the ass sometimes... (read the books and you'll know why, he's much nicer in the show...)

Yeah, It's when you read the books that you can truly see his rebellish character. He's like this goody-tissue all knowing guy that never ever loses his temper in the show, but really, when you read the books, he can sometimes be bad, unknowing or lose his temper (well only if you put up signs with things you cant do) ^^ I guess it makes him even more desirable

yeah, the books are written by a Finish author named Tove Jansson; the show came later and some of the stories in the episodes are based on the books.
