I got inspired by my own contest to do a cat or a kitten style girl =x Although instead of an actual kitten, I chose a cat girl
This here is Katelyn, a school girl - if the sailor uniform wasn't any indication
Her coloring inspirations came from a furrie friend I have on Second Life + a Cash Shop set on a Korean MMO I used to play.
I played around with the hair coloring, I didn't do any of the highlights I used with my deviation Sarah, for I didn't want it to be too much in the hair, so I just aimed for the basic highlights.

A really cute picture! The shading detail is really great, and the shadows are subtle enough to add effect without being unnoticeable. Very, very good artistry. My one critique to make is that her left eye (to the viewer's right) is a little cross eyed, but maybe it's just what I think. +fav all the way!

It's been over a year since I made that comment, though it seems like far less. I'm glad you finally responded, and I'm wondering what I was thinking when I said that she looked cross-eyed. To me it doesn't seem that way at all anymore.
