Description I am so happy with how this picture turned out. The colors, the pose... everything.
It took me so long to do this too. This past week I almost got no sleep at all so I would finish this in time. I drew it for an art contest that my school hosts every year that a bunch of other schools enter as well. Between soccer, track, and homework, it was amazing that I found any time to work on it at all. ^_^

The lack of sleep was well worth it however, because I got a 'Superior' on it, which basically the best thing you can get besides Best in Show. I would have begun jumping up and down with glee had I not been paralized. I almost died when I found out, heh.

Even though "colorness" isn't technically a word, I get your meaning and I thank you. This is a number of years old at this point, but it's still one of my favorite pieces and I'm glad that people still like it.

Colored Pencil, actually. Prismacolor. Lotsa people though it was in charcoal pastels, though.

Whoa, now this is definately cool. The thing that really drew me into it was the eye and that wacky grin. The colors look great too, as well as its green paw stickin out there, very awsome.

oO COLOURED PENCIL?
OMG this is AMAZING colour blending for coloured pencil. It looks like pastel/watercolour mix... Now I'm starting to wonder why you only got that Superior... I think this deserves a Best in Show because everyone can plainly see you worked your butt off on this. Definitely a

That is definitely an awesome picture you have here; far better than any of the work you have in your gallery! Congradulations on your success of this; I bet you busted your ass all over the place like hell to get it like that. ^^ Anyways, awesome picture! Thank you very much. I did spend forever on it. Definately more time put into this than anything else I've done. Which is a shame I guess, but I can't find the time during school to do much. Hopefully now that school's out I'll be able to do more. ^_^

Very good reproduction! Your coloring is superb.

But art ettiquete states that if you reproduce someone else's work for learning, like at school for instance, that you should always state your sources. It's good you didn't change the name of the piece (Dralion) but you should have cited that the Dralion logo is © Cirque De Soleil, and given a source reference, for example:

And of course, as you know, you cannot sell the piece unless you obtain permission to do so from Cirque De Soleil.

Still, you've done a great job at coloring, and getting the icon just right.
