I have to sayβand it was probably required by WoCβbut I'm tired of armor spikes. All they do is break off or get stuck on things. Even if indestructible, e.g. out of something like dragonbone, what would you stab with spikes pointing backwards? What are you preventing from jumping on only your forearm? An elegant piece of simple, dark armor would not take away from it: his face (not to mention the glowing eyes), his hand position, the blood on the other forearm would be enough to make it ominous. So my only critique is that an impressive and handsome piece of armor that draws from history as much but no more than the city below would do just as well.
Just my thoughts as a pragmatic creative!

Is he a vampire? He looks like the T-1000 mixed with The Lost Boys. Awesome rendering. The muscle details are especially accurate and his expression is a serene, cold menace.

May I ask for confirmation on a suspicion of mine? I assume a really good dynamic pose is based not as much on the pose itself but the perspective and "camera angle" right? cause I can try and draw "dynamic poses" all day long if the angle is not interesting it's dull by itself. Just wondering ^^
