Takeshi is kinda a god or a lead for us, about what we really looks for our lives: I like how he does not only creates awesome sex scenes on his stories, but actually a whole believable and caring story about a true relationship: with hopes, caring, emotions, real talking, fooling and sometimes even tears, fear or anger between the guys, as they're. His characters do actually have feelings and emotions and thoughts and reflections about themselves and their partners, more than just enjoying the sex; this is more related to yaoi than the original bara [as with Tagame and related: plain raw sex, with little caring or love, and more actually hard situations of violence and dominance ], but I think that's better because that's actually how real relationships are and/or must be [Matsu seems to have worked first as yaoi author, but quite certainly disliked the stereotypes of it, and also those in traditional bara, so he created an hybrid: a bara yaoi, or actually a 'new bara', and since then everyone loves him, not only for us, the gay or bi audience, but also females who loved yaoi and even more audience: he make the bara likeable for more people than a small core audience, I guess because he knows how to get the balance for the story, that's more than great hot sex between the guys, but a whole real dynamic of a relationship or story: there's true love, there's caring, comedy, tragedy, reflections, ect, there, and over all there's always hope in life and love that many realistic bara mangakas seems to miss as important [Matsu works are kinda more idealistic than realistic at times, as he's influenced by yaoi, but that's not bad, because he knows how to keep some balance to make it believable for reality, something that hard realistic, and more traditional, bara authors lack and tend to go into a hopless pessimistic reality. Takeshi knows how to keep balance for reality, going more into the ideal, but without never loose the feets on ground, yet also not allowing it to ruin hope, trust and the seek of love and happiness between the characters ]
I LOVE TM-sama!!! He is the god of bara, and for us then a cool lead figure about our hopes!
