Cough Cough
It was heard throughout the house, there was no dought in your mind that the little Red-haired assassin was sick. He didn't care to tell you that he was sick but, he let the evidence ring through the room. You slowly crept into his room. Only to find him laying on his bed, manga in hand acting perfectly normal.
"Um, Are you feeling okay?" You ask. He looks up at you.
"I'm fine, why do you ask?"
"Oh, so it's not your coughing that I hear, right?" You ask in a sarcastic tone.
"What are you talking about?" He asks while looking at you with those puppy eyes. That's not natural, Karma and puppy eyes shouldn't go in the same sentence.
"Your hiding something" You conclude.
"Who me? Y/N, that's ridiculous" Giving his classic laid-back grin. You begin to search around his room. His eyes carefully watching you. You turn to look at him.
"You alright?" You say as you observe his pink cheeks and nose.
"Fine." He replies cooly. You continue your search around his room.
"Gotcha," You say as you find a hidden waste-basket filled with tissues.
"Got what, It's a waste-basket?"
"That's filled with tissues-So not sick, are you?"
"That's right I'm not sick" He huffs.
You slowly walk toward him.
"What are you doing Y/N?"
You place yourself on his bed, slowly leaning closer.
"Y/N?" Karma asked flusteredly
You grin as you inch closer, then you slowly place your hand on his Fore-head. Feeling the high temperature you state,
"Yep, you're sick"
Karma looks away, probably upset he got tricked.
"Come on don't be that way, I'm gonna fix you some soup and get you medicine, okay?"
He only huffs in response. You return to his room soup in one hand, medicine in the other.
"Hey, I'm back," You say. Only getting a slight hum in reply but, the hum was immediately replaced with a coughing fit. You made your way over to him to see if he was okay. He looked flushed and was sweating.
"Hey, I got something for you," You say, gaining his attention. You stared into the golden orbs for a minute or so, Then went on.
"I got soup," You say holding the spoon toward his face.
"I said I was fine" He spat.
"No, you're not. Now you're going to eat this and then take this medicine or so help me God, Akabane"
"I'm fine"
"No, you're not!"
"Listen-"
"No, you listen, you are sick and I am trying to help so please, Karma. You're only going to get worse if I don't help you now"
He gave a slight pout But, mumbled a small 'Okay'. You helped him with the soup, and then passed him a glass of water to take the medicine. He started to look drowsy, but better. He soon fell asleep, you helped him under the covers and looked at his sleeping form. He's actually kind'a cute when he's sleeping. You thought as you tucked his blankets.
"Goodnight Karma," You say and the lean down to kiss him on the forehead "I love you" You whisper. You then look at his face one more time, only to meet a pair of golden orbs.
"I love you too, Y/N," He said as his eyes slowly closed, and light snoring was heard. You blushed slightly but, then gave a small smile at his sleeping form.
"Get better soon, Karma..."
