This picture was just really much fun to work on. After some stressful weeks it was really relaxing (It's actually still from the time when I had to do the Happy Prince illustrations for school) and rewarding. It's loosely inspired by Grimm's Allerleirauh and the first time I tried mixing graphite dust with water. It went surprisingly well

This is so so beautiful! I love her curled up pose and peacefully sleeping face, and all the patches and patterns on her clothes are very nice. I love that it's loosely inspired by Allerleirauh, that was always one of my favourites!

This is just so beautiful, I don't even know where to begin...*inhales*
That limited use of gold is to perfect! And the patched up, beautifully detailed and patterned old dress covering it up leaves me dying to know what shes hiding, and why !
Also, the swirl of her hair is so...emotive. Like troubled thoughts frozen in slumber.
