Description The photo has little to do with the title (as there is no battle going on, obviously) but that's what comes to my mind when I think of "Algiers" and that's why I photographed this cafe entrance when I saw it in Cambridge in the first place. The 1965 movie by Gillo Pontecorvo is considered a classic, referencing to the series of events that took place in Algeria, "The Revolt that Stirred the World!". Unfortunately we missed it when it was playing on Film Archives, or Angelika or wherever it was playing, somewhere in the West Village. Anyway, I thought the blood red background with the type in the foreground makes a nice reference to the film, and Algeria in general.

Hic alakasi yok ama kendimi tutamiyorum:
- Play it once, Sam. For old times' sake.

(Yes, it's not "Play it again Sam", sorry)
