This horse has been finished for a while but I decided to make him part of a larger picture. I am uploading just the horse separately for now (mostly because I hate going too long without a submission!).

I tried to make the background somewhat interesting.... but fail? xD

I will be including him in a before and after improvement drawing (Draw it again meme thing) of this old painting, one of my first submissions!

I was actually really proud of that one at the time. Now looking at it, it's too dark, too contrasted, lines are bad, the woman's anatomy is terrible, horse's face is off, and what are those disgusting brownish stains on his body? I have no idea ^^'

EDIT: I was too tired last night to put the credits, so here they are:
pose reference: Jumping Horse by Floflo (The horse is actually jumping over another horse, amazing photo.)
muscle and shading reference: Warmblood 51 by Colourize-stock (Check out their stock, definitely one of the best horse stock providers on DA)

Face was referenced from various pictures of thoroughbred and standardbred horses. Colour was referenced from a random sandy dapple grey ^^
