I went outside? And painted a real thing??? From real life?????? Since when is that a thing I do???????????
Yup, that's right, this is my first ever nature painting. I've painted/drawn a couple small things from real life before (by which I mean things I was told to draw in my high school art class and also maybe a couple crystals from my personal collection) but never a whole scene like this. I sat on a rock in the middle of a stream while hikers stared at me and I got bitten up by mosquitos for two hours, so hopefully people like it. I also fell in a river before that. It was the same river, this was just a bit upstream from there. I should do more real life scenes like this, this was fun.
