Aww that's awesome. I guess it is just because I've been absent for a while that it is surprising to see familiar faces around here again commenting. ^^ It is certainly nice though!
I'm good, just trying to get back in the swing of things and be drawing more often. I had major plans to make merchandise then realized that time wouldn't really allow and ended up going on hiatus. It allowed me to re-evaluate why I wanted to create art in the first place, and honestly it was never about making money. It is my hobby so it should be fun right?

Oh gosh no that's definitely not it! I'm sorry for my late reply, I wanted to take the time to write a decent reply to what you wrote, I went on vacation for a couple weeks and wasn't around. That comment was so thoughtful and sweet of you, I sort of kept it in my notifications so it would pop up at me and still be easily readableΒ ^///^.Β I appreciate the kind words.
I don't know if it makes me amazing though that I don't pursue making it more of a career; it is mostly just my own worries and sometimes laziness when it comes to being creative that stands in the way. Either way, I just don't think it would be the greatest move for me. I've been seeing too many artists I like lately who had awesome style going the more commercial route and the creative spirit of their work isn't there as much as it used to be, or they just don't have the time to experiment with more diverse kinds of work. So I'm fine with being a hobbyist, means I can do whatever I want!
