well...i am not satisfied with this at all.i tried a new paper and a set of flesh tone markers to try and get away from the yellow paper i have been using..
but it was so hard to blend without the paper turning to mush.......UUUGGHGHHH!
i will definately do this character again...(just not with the same brand of paper)

wow this is amazing. i love dark soo much. im assuming alot of the wrinkles in the clothes are from the paper turning mushy from all the coloring. but it still looks wonderful u can hardly even see a difference.

Irregardless of the paper it still looks amazing! His face and hair is gorgeous looking and the colours you used set a real great atmosphere. It seems as if its lateish in the evening ^_^

the paper is all chimic made, sp. done for marker or copic. it's very light but you should try ^^p

you could possibly try some thicker card, watercolour paper or blotting paper. some with more substance behind may let you play around with the colours more without eating the paper away. what kind of markes do you usually use because that may have some bearing on your paper choice as well dependant on flow. lovely image but it seems too saturated. you could possibly tone down a little in photoshop before submitting?? take care!.
