Yep, I saw it. For a while there, I thought I wouldn't get to with all the cloud cover. But eventually it became something of an advantage, allowing me to look directly at the sun with no trouble. Eventually there was a break in the clouds for a short while and I did have some of those eclipse glasses to help me see. Then the clouds came back and I was back to looking at the sun with nothing. I'm surprised I managed to get any photos at all. My phone is so bad at distant objects in the sky, especially bright ones. My step father went out of town to see this, which was silly, we saw it just fine in our backyard.
