I couldn't stop listening to 30 Seconds to Mars's cover of Stronger originally done by Kanye West. One of the best covers I've heard in a LONG time!I just opened Illustrator and wanted to doodle... so reference free stuff (can only really do eyes
)I kinda wanted it to look like biro and watercolour... which I'm kinda digging... might try more like this.
I'd really appreciate some feedback on this one
Edit: On advice, I've worked it up a bit more

Wow, I would never guess you did this in illustrator! Great effects! You should make a tutorial on how to create watercolor effects in Illustrator. The result is really awesome!

I wanted to make it look like it was drawn with a pen, so objective achieved there

What an intricate illustration, even with all the looseness of structure, which in fact whirl the line of sight to what truly deserves attention. The eye is superbly done, bearing quite a lot of personality. It looks more like biro and markers, due to the flatness of the brush application and no variable "bleeding" to each layer of colour, however still a very enjoyable piece.

Really beautiful! I love doodles, I don't think "just a doodle" must be a negative thing. I've seen some "just doodles" that have more meaning and expression than a piece that took a lot of time but nothing of passion
The only thing I don't like very much is that part of the hair that goes "off the frame", I think is not enough "flowing" as the rest of the hair (sorry if you don't understand, I can't find the right words in english!). Other than that, and as I said above, I absolutley love it!

Already told you my thoughts on this so i've not got much to say. Really though, it's a great piece, even though it's really just a doodle! I love the dreamy/wistfulness of it.
Damnit, woman, now I want to go and get my tablet out and draw for the rest of the day. You really want me to fail my exams, dontcha?
