Interesting! I own a sweet lil nebelung myself. Guess I always thought they had a similar frame to Russian blues considering how the breed originated.

Yeah, Cats 101 on Youtube points out that the breed started when a barn cat mated with a cat that had a longhaired parent. The breed only exists because the originator convinced a Russian Blue breeder to breed them. 1 in 10 cats are longhaired. Here is a bonus: Russian blue breeders are miffed because the steel grey/blue color is not limited to the breed.Β
