For anyone familiar with the Final Fantasy VII Fanfic "I Know What's Beneath the Snow Fields" (Possibly the best work of FF7 fanfiction EVER, written by the AWESOME, WONDERFUL Zahra! link: [link] ), this is an idea I've had for a while now; to make an anime-style opening(OP) and ending(ED) 'animation' based on the fic. This happens to be the story board for the Ending animation. The song I chose to use for the sequence is "Ningyo Hime" by Rie Tanaka from the anime Chobits. I thought the english lyrics really suited the fic. Here they are:

Hehe. Brings back memories from animation summer-camp/school back in Hungary. It was one of my greatest summer experiences ever. It was like going to school in one of Europe's most famous animation studios in Budapest. I still have a tape somewhere with my animations recorded. It's not really anything to show-off because it's drawn by a 14-year-old
But hey, before this turns into another novelette, I wish you the best of luck. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

The video was really great! I can't wait to see a finished product, and this really inspires me to try to make an animation sequence as well. My only question is, how are you going to do it? Frame by frame in Movie Maker/iMovie? Or I was thinking maybe ImageReady (which I really have no idea how that acually works, but...)

I'm not sure yet. I've made animated gifs similar to a scene from this, but I'm not sure how frame-by-frame would work here. I'll experiment with each one a bit ;D I need to find a damned tracing table somewhere O.o
If you were at all confused though, the thing playing while the strange noises played before the actual song was the very last seconds of the 'episode' (LMAO). It's supposed to be near the end of chapter 28 when Vincent gets out of bed and goes to the window and everything. *shrug*
