Description
This piece is part of my Junior Cert art project.....I used the image of the gas mask to try and represent the fear and casualties caused by war.The gas mask itself has always given me a sense of fear from childhood, and this model especially, is quite frightening.
The casualties (the mass loss of lives) is represented by the model of this gas mask. I believe that such a mask was used by the SS when there was a serious threat to health (resulting in death sometimes) if the person was to breath in the air as it was.
Tools used-
- A variety of pencils (6H-6B)
- Phone camera
