Description So I was digging around my Photobucket and found a really old, bad sketch of my Fire Starter's final evo. After touching it up in Microsoft Office 07 (Yes, I use that for outlining. Don't stare at me. xD), I decided to color it.

I was really indecisive about whether to make hard-edged shading or go for a more soft look, and I know the fire should leave highlights on his fur, but blah.

I still wish I knew how to do Sugimori-style, but ah well...

nearly anyone who draws Fakemon is copying the Sugimori style, which kind of gets kinda boring...

it's always nice to bring some own style into fakemon creating ^^

Cool picture. I think I'm going to need to learn how to do cartooning stuff like this; even though my semi-realistic pokemon picture eventually came out looking all right, it was really a bit too ambitious for my skill level.

Does it have a secondary type?

I swear I intended it to have a secondary type, but could never settle on one. I wanted my starters to have a secondary flying>fighting>ice thing going on so that they balanced each other out, but then there ended up being WAY too many fire/fighting -types in the world.
