Description
Here's an old one... I loved the line art when I'd finished it, and I couldn't wait to color it, so I started on it with markers. After this one I kind of gave up markers though, I don't like the way it comes out, and I know that it's probably due to my own incompetence regarding how to use markers- but I thought I'd upload it, since it's one of the few ones that I'm actually sure I'm not going to touchup, ink or color.Related content

They're fun and great to have, but it's a bit of a hassle that they seem to poop at any old time, and there's really no way to train them not to do their business on you. >_<

Well, hi there chibi. 
To start off, I think the overall design (or the line art) is really great; but it does look just a tad messy. Not as clean as your other work.
Now I guess Iβll start from Takaiβs head and work my way down. 
I think you did an absolutely beautiful job on her hair, it looks like it was shaded perfectly, not only that but it also looks quite realistic. I think one way that may make the hairβs coloring look even better is if you put an even lighter brown in there too. Iβm thinkingβ the color that you used for her cat ears. I was think that if you put that color into her hair as well, itβll show even more shading.
You also did a good job on the faces Both yourself and Takai, but I think the markers you were using may have been a little bit dirty. I just see some marks in the color. I think if you tried coloring with markers again itβd look great.
Now onto you!
I think your design is really just fine; but I think thereβs something wrong with your shoe. AND WHEREβS THE TAIL!? We need to at least see your tail.

My primary issue with using markers is that there is no undo button. Hence the frequent errors with the lines. ^_^ I will admit, this piece is not one I'm frankly proud of. I could do much with a little digital coloring, but alas, it's a little late for this poor picture.
I may do more traditional work... Someday- but it will probably be more along the lines of colored pencils. Markers are difficult to master, and blending them seems so far beyond me, that I lack the patience to practice it.

Hehehe, Takai is an expert mouser ^_^. This is the second picture of mine where she's caught me (Like I'd really try to run away, hehe.)
