Why on earth... does a woman who stands 8' 2" in her bare feet, want to wear 10" platform sandals when we go out on a date?*Chibi stares up at Takai in disbelief.*
Chibi: ...Why?
Takai: Does a girl need a reason to dress 'up'?
(That horrible pun was mine, by the way, and not actually Takai's XD ).
Anyhow, I thought I'd draw Takai in something besides flats. Why? I just kind of felt like it. The sketch itself is a few weeks old, and I'd just decided to upload the blank sketch. But I couldn't. It just demanded color, and besides that, I love seeing Takai in that green dress. And you can't tell it's green without color! So...
This was my little attempt at emulating watercolors with Paintshop Pro. I actually didn't ink this one either. I just futz'd with corrective effects and an eraser until it came out mostly clean. I'm pretty proud of this one, it looks good, and it took me only 2 hours to do it. That's a record for me ^.^

Not in actuality, but when we met, it was in an online game, and those were our avatars' heights, so even though we're fairly average in reality - we're pretty closely tied to our online personas.

Well she did know about giantesses in anime but she didn't know the role they played in stories and pictures like you write. At first she hated it because of the many cruel giantesses but changed her mind when I showed her the gentler ones now we write fantasies with her as tall as anywhere from 20ft to tall enough she could stick me in her cleavage.

My girlfriend, Becky like me dosn't go for over the top GTS. Just tall enough that we could still show our love, like cuddleing, hugging, kissing,etc

*nods* It does get harder to interact at larger sizes like that... But one of the things I love most about Takai is how creative she is. She's got an incredible imagination, and regardless of how big she gets, she always has a few tricks up her sleeve.

That's true, but again, that all depends on how populated the area is, how careful the individual is, and how big they are. And I suppose that's one of the best parts of it being a fantasy. ^_^

When I wrote the comment I was thinking about the interaction between two people. One big, one small like say for instance I'm sleeping with Becky and in the middle of the night I shrink. Then Becky rolls over on top of me, I'd get crushed by her. I know both Becky and Takai would be careful with the both of us but accidents do happen. And the fact that it's fantasy is the best and the worst part of it. The best part is anything can happen, the worst part is it can never come true.

If it *were* possible though, I would have to say I'm lucky Takai sleeps like a log and doesn't roll around much. Of course, that could be a problem if it was her that was growing, and I had to wake her up and try to get her out of the house.

Inpressive indeed! Which leads me to a question....
When she grows, her clothes obviously grow with her (as I have never seen a draw of her naked... -I am OBVIOUSLY not askign for one- ). But what would happen if she grows, take off, say, one of her shoes (as in that draw with the helicopter-point-of-view) and shrink to a more "normal" size (say, 10 feet) ? What would happen with the shoe that she is not wearing now? Because you could..... have you ever seen one of those illustration for kids where the gnomes (I think were the gnomes) live inside a boot?

No, I've wondered that too ^_^; Honestly though, it's one of those anomalies that I don't have a concrete answer for... I would probably say it would return to normal too, but then I have no idea... That brings up the question, if she takes off her shoes while she's growing, do the shoes continue growing with her, or will she be unable to put them on afterwards? XD Tis' a mystery
And I would totally live in a shoe. Free rent and a skylight, what could be better!

Um... my semi-logical theory:
Since Takai's growth is caused by a chemical reaction (or biological, since it's for something she ingered or biochemical.... well, it has a scientific background XD ), one could theorize that Takai growths and any non-living matter that is in direct contact with her skin... or better, that has been in direct contact for some time with her skin grows with her. The reason could be that she produces some kind of "inoffensive" electromagnetic (or name it the way you want, since there will always be someone that will come to tell "but electromagnetic fields don't do that!! ^_^ ) field that bets embded within the object. When she start growing, her body produces the specific energy that activates the "sleeping" field making her and "her embded objets" grow.
When she shrinks, it's the same, but with an anti-signal, that makes the magnetic field act shrinking the embded objects (and her, of course).
Now, if she kicks out the shoe while growing, some residual "triggering energy" will remain in the shoe, making it grow for another one or one and a half second, but nothing more. If the shoe is not in contact with her when she's shrinking, for the very same reason, the "anti-signal energy" will not activate the field in the shoe and it won't shrink, remaining big.
That explains why when she grows with her current clothes, but the rest of her clothing don't grow.

Why Platforms?
Simple, that dress is "dry" clean only.

Looking up the skirt thing. I had my chances at that too and yes looking back at it now I'm ashamed at it. (And ladies you may want to take note on this.) When I was in my late teens and back in the States of awhile I used to work at one of those "Quick Oil Changes" places and some of them had that workcenter that you saw where the mechanics are that work under your car changing the oil. Some call it "The pit". Watch were their eyes are when you get out or round your car because you may not like where they are looking.

Don't forget to have them check your *air filter, top off your fluids and check the *air in your tires.(*Just a couple tips that can help you save gas next to walking or riding a bike. Hey, I live in Japan, man! 100 Oct. is 156 Yen a liter here! Every drop is gold here and I drive a American pick-up over here!)
You know, if you and Takai want to have some fun, take her with you to the Oil Change Place and have her wear that green dress. (Now hear me out don't get the wrong idea here.) This is where she can have some "pay-back" for the ladies. However, she may have to gain some height and strength to pull this off. I don't think she'll mind.
Just have her stand by the garagedoor and when you see one of the guys looking up (I'm quite sure one of them will not want to pass "this" up.) have her grab the car* and lift it up off it's wheels about...oh..let's say ten to fifteen feet into the air and have her lean down a bit and ask in a very demaning voice;
"What the heck are you looking at, shorty?!"
I'm very sure that guy will not do anymore "POV"! In fact, I'm sure the whole shop will not do anymore for that matter.
*About the car, I don't know what you drive so I'm thinking it's a mid-size that's about 1,700 to 3,700 pounds. Takai should not have much trouble at fifteen to twenty feet in height. However, make sure you pick from the underneath where the "jackpoints" are (that's the area where you would lift up the car as if changing a tire or something) NOT the roof, good change you'll buckle it or rip it off. Recall what happen in the film "Transformers" when O.Prime picked up the SUV?
If you drive a Jeep such as a CJ-7 your in luck have her pick it up by the roll bar it's pretty strong. Have fun you two!

Chibi: B-but you remember what Jaf said! If we want this to work, you have to be able to fit inside the car shop.
*Takai ponders this for a moment, then thrusts the hose down at a perplexed Chibi*
Takai: Alright. I go in there and get his attention, then you shoot me until I can wear this shop like a coat.
*Chibi whines*
Chibi: But that's not the plan at all!
(Moral of the story: The hardest part is getting Takai to settle on just 20 feet.)
