I think it's 100% alright. Everything is in pretty good contrast and color.

I agree, the background color washes the image out. I think a darker background would make the details in the band members pop more, as well as their skin tones. Otherwise, I think it's fine.

i think if the background was some sort of dark color instead of white, they'd all "pop" against it, (as much as i hate using that word)
they're all almost white and kinda get lost.

There's a popular local band here in Seattle, and they're named The Maldives

I agree with delia97, about the background washing out the skintone, although I don't have many suggestions, I'm terrible with color...

But I really love the character designs! They all have very unique faces, very expressive. Great work! They all look so Northwest haha

It may be my monitor-- but the white background around their heads is washing out their skin tone.

Perhaps you can keep the halftone effect and the brick, but maybe add an extra gradient layer in the very back that takes it from a dark blue in the vein of the color you used for the halftone (just darken that color) and have it fade up into a lighter blue near the top. This way, the halftone adds contrast, but we still have a visible gradient-- and it gives more contrast to their heads against the background.

I love the brick texture!

But yeah, just a suggestion.
