Sounds like a deal breaker to me. *shrugs* I mean, unless you're into that sort of thing...This is not a slam against the KOxArcee pairings or fans that enjoy that shipping. I was kind of looking forward to the two of them teaming up to avenge their respected partners against Airachnid, but it seems that it is not meant to be.
Anyway... don't expect a callback, Arcee. He mad.

Poor Breakdown. He dies, then M.E.C.H. uses him to make C.Y.L.A.S. And in the show Knock Out has no reaction whatsoever. KO come on !! He was your Partner for Primus' sake !!!!! Β Forget your paintjob Β and go avenge him!!!! Β

Agreed. My theory for KO's missing reaction was that he hid whatever he felt, or maybe he had already expected it or maybe he had just somehow learned to live without Breakdown just like Arcee had to learn to live without Tailgate. 
Now that I think of it, maybe I'll someday have KO actually go on a spider hunt in my TFP fic. At least if I don't encounter a fic which already has that written well already. I need to put that to my notes-to-self.

Okay, let me make this clear. Knockout, you got your good looks ruined (temporarily) because of your OWN actions, it's wasn't Arcee or Bumblebee's fault at all!
Have any of you noticed that Arcee and Knockout have alot in common in the partners side of things? I mean think about it.
1. Both had close relationships with their partners.
2. Both their partners were killed by Airachnid.
3. Their dead partners were used for sinister experiments by a main villain.
4. Both were excited at the prospect that their thought to be dead friends could be alive.
5. Both went on the mission to retrieve them.
6. Both were horrified when it turned out that their friends were not themselves anymore (Cliffjumper was turned into a zombie and Breakdown's carcass was being used as a life-support system and a suit by Silas).
7. Both wanted revenge for their partners deaths.

Knock Out's crazy- I highly doubt he'll ever accept the blame or responsibility, even if it's his fault. ^_^ (Seriously, not once but twice he failed to dodge the train...)
As for the other part you mention, I totally see that comparison, but I don't think Hasbro's going to explore it. And if they did... I don't think it'll be executed well. I'm not sure what to think of the third season, to be honest.

it is pretty hard to forget a train to the face. just like a netball being thrown in your face, you never forget who did it.
