Hm well I don't usually think about it but here is something I've been doing:
1) Outline My sketch normally
After that I use the airbrush to color the lineart so it won't be as solid with pen/pecil (u know?)
2) Sketch and clean- this is something I'm trying to learn and I have only used it on the chibi drawing ;v;
I do a thumbnail, a sketch, next the second sketch with a fat size pen, and then I make it clean/thin/the size I want by using the eraser. And when I'm happy with the coloring/shading of the drawing I add a layer on top and add more details.
