Just a practice sketch. I notice I tend to go extreme with contrasts, so I wanted to play around with more neutral lighting and desaturated colors. ^^

My friend's oc, Dale, whom I always find myself doodling. He's a sweet Brit who's great at building things, street smart, and is quiet and thoughtful. His design is neat in that his emotions are easy to hide behind that mop-head of his. You have to really know him to see past the thick locks and understand what he's feeling. (:
