Hello~~This is supposedly an entry for a "First Anime/Manga you've seen/read"-themed contest... but for some unknown reasons, the host has deactivated her account, without anyone knowing.
I don't really remember the first anime that i've watched because i've been watching anime since i was conceived. lol. but so to speak...
The first manga that i've read, erm.. not really read but i consider it read (stupid me) since it was the first time i've got a real manga, as in not those viewable only on the internet, was InuYasha when i was in 5th grade~ I wasn't able to read it because the manga was in the original Japanese text, as it was shipped fresh from Japan. And, of course, they were only borrowed from my classmate. But...? whatever~~
I used watercolors, colored pencils and markers. i used a paper from a sketch pad that's why you could see somehow the texture here is rough... because it sure was rough and messy. ah~~
Kagome Higurashi and Kikyo from InuYasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi~

well it would depend on what you are drawing
if its from an anime look at any flowers thats are used, and you can try drawing random flowers you see online in order to draw things other then roses

Kagome and Kikyo are very interesting.
Of course I prefer Kagome and Inuyasha together than Kikyo because while Kikyo and Inuyasha did love each other once, Kikyo tried convincing him to be a human while Kagome loved Inuyasha for who he was and if he wanted to make a choice Kagome would accept it because she wants Inuyasha to choose what will make him happy while she accepts him for who he was.
While Kikyo wanted to live a normal life and love Inuyasha, when Naraku turn them against each other it turn to full blown hatred. And Kikyo was bitter thinking Inuyasha loved someone else, which is understandable because they were together once and Inuyasha started having feelings for Kagome, while Kagome did have feelings for Inuyasha she saw that Inuyasha still loved Kikyo and didn't want to get in his way if he still loved hr even if it hurt her.
Kikyo's love seemed a bit more conditional, while Kagome's was unconditional.

I thought i was good at colouring. Boy you proved to me that there's a lot of improving to do.
What is your secret? How do you colour with water colours? I'm terrible with them.

Hmmm... I don't think i do have a secret? I just color things the way i think it's going to be (at least within my capacity). But I always refer to the color wheel for contrasting colors, especially when I'm not sure what colors should be beside each other and not, coz i believe what colors that are being placed next to each other plays a big part in the overall appearance of the work.
colouring with watercolours... basically, i'm using my hand. lol. idk how to explain but that's how it is. XD

totally i'm fan of kagome and kikyo now. I'm fan Kagome NOW ,but For me Kikyo-Sama is better and love kikkag both(i'm not lesban) simply like. Picture is amazing!

Love it! Love the roses. Love the characters. InuYasha was actually the first anime I had ever watched on purpose, besides animated films, and lucky for me the night I started watching Adult Swim decided to play the series from the beginning. :3
