Serenity creeped back into the room, silently without making a sound. She'd have to thank the Silver Imperium Crystal for using it's power in such a case.

She climbed into the bed, trying not to wake the man on the other side, but what she didn't kniw, was that he was already awake. This would have been a sweet thing to do, not wake your lover by silently trying not to wake them; but definetely not in this case.

You see, Serenity was covered in sweat, her once light and pure white nightgown was not stained with unknown marks and stunk of sweat. What had she been doing beforehand? The images kept playing in her mind.

Endymion on the other side of the bed knew this scene very well, so he knew what was about to unfold next and then the next few things after. He knew perfectly well where his wife had been. Oh, boy did he know.
Across the field is a little shed where from the outside, nothing can be heard. The walls are so thick, so technically you all know what unfolds in that small shed.
Endymion knew perfectly well. When his wife was once his lover, they both had many times used the little shed for their...activities. But now, her love has been given to another. A general in fact.

The leader of the Earth's army.
A.k.a. His Wife's Lover.
God how it hurt him to see those two talking to each other, touching each other, and worst of all, watching them look at each other with such longing. Why did Endymion still keep her and not let her leave? Well, that was his undying love for her.

Getting out of the bed, Serenity walked into the ensuite and turned on the tap.
Gush, gush, gush. The water was making sounds that made Serenity feel queasy.

Preparing for another date

As he reluctantly
Asks if I'm gonna be out late
I say I won't be long
Just hanging with the girls

He heard the tap turn on, he heard her leave the bed. He knew she was going to leave him very soon. And he knew she knew he wasn't going to leave her or even think about causing an argument.
He never caused one.
She did.
He just played along, and if someone walked in on them, he covers for her, and then he gets that look. The one where she would have a pleading look in those azure pools of blue.
Asking, no BEGGING him to let her go. No dice. Endymion needed her. It was like he breathed her. Even though she didn't return his eternal love.

Serenity walked (more like ran) up to Endymion, and stared him right in the eye.
"Please..." Her voice was soft, pleading and alluring. Endymion turned his eyes to hers.
He knew just from the sight if her eyes that the guilt she had was suffocating her.
He hated those kind of eyes she gave him. Just like the ones she gave Seiya. Those lust filled looks of longing and love she never ever gave him.
Endymion sighed. Serenity tensed. He was going to turn over again.

I might as well take a gun and put it to his head

Serenity did what she planned to do if he said no. She asked one, last time.
"Please let me leave." A bit louder, but still very soft. He looked up at her again.
There was a dangerous sparkle in her eye he couldn't place.
"You know I love you..." Was his only reply.
A tear escaped Serenity's eye.
"But I don't."
BAM.
Endymion was no longer in any world. Serenity just fell over his corpse and cried her eyes out.
"See what happens? See what you made me do? Why didn't you let me go? You knew I could never have loved you. Why?"
Serenity stood up, ran to the closet and pulled out a dress and slipped it on after shedding the other one off.

In a second she was out of the room, bolting towards a certain door. She knocked.
It opened revealing a man that looked quite like Endymion in several ways, but had a younger lively spark to him.
"Seiya..." Her voice was muffled and soft due to her crying.
"What is it darling?" He was obviously worried.
"I-I did it. I-W-we have t-to go n-now." Seiya understood. He knew the guilt of being unfaithful caught up to her. After all, she was one of the most pure people in the universe.

Both figures escaped, disappearing into the darkness as shooting stars to somewhere throughout the universe to start a new life. One without guilt. One without forced and unwanted romances.
