Yeah, at least he's got it in a dialogue. He's a smart little guy. But the question is 'is he smart enough'?
Aw! Thanks! most of my sketchbook is pen and ink. This story takes up most of it so far.
I hope to somehow have some printed versions of this for sale when it's all done.

Mine is in bound book form. I actually use my hand to push it down as it scans. But I still have to digitally erase shadows on the edge sometimes too.

Thank you! I'm glad you like him! He's a pretty scary critter.

They can take me ashioe sometimes. I usually draw in that book when I'm in a waiting room or in the car or something. It gives me something to do. So I never know when exactly I'll complete the next one.

Unfortunately that is so.
Hopefully. He better have another plan.

WOW, THAT THING'S HUGE! This really shows how tiny Loorin is compared to the Sprill.

For sure. This makes me wonder how the real-life version of the sprill compares to this, and the Jssfloon deal with them in modern times.

It's probably half this size. Plenty large enough to eat a Jssfloon, though and incredibly dangerous. Now they have technology that keep them in certain areas.

Yeah.....that would be bad. Especially since they have all those tourists.

It's be scary for sure. Do you think Jssfloon had any worse creatures in it's prehistory?

chill13 In reply to John-AM [2016-04-26 23:19:48 +0000 UTC]
Well, there are certainly larger and more vicious ones. But the Sprill is the only one that is amphibious like the Jssfloon. From other predators they can either hide in the water or the land. So yeah, this guy is about as scary as it gets for them.

I can just imagine an attack on a herd of them. Do sprill[s] hunt alone?

chill13 In reply to John-AM [2016-04-29 02:11:42 +0000 UTC]
Yes. They are solitary hunters.

Maybe you mentioned this already, but where are sprills commonly found? Just the northern part where Loorin is?

chill13 In reply to John-AM [2016-05-03 23:59:11 +0000 UTC]
They were mostly in the cold northern regions. But they were occasionally found in the more tropical areas.

Most dangerous predators have been confined to certain areas to keep the Jssfloon and the tourists safe.

I think if there were predators like that in the region, I'd want to carry a rocket launcher.

Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2016-04-26 01:37:57 +0000 UTC]
Probably. I'd think if predators like that were common, the Jssfloon would be a bit more like the Lazakal. (Lazakal are borderline pacifists and also gun nuts who love hunting.)

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2016-04-26 03:16:40 +0000 UTC]
That is probably true. Although, they don't eat much red meat so their hunting would end up being mostly to rid them of danger.
