Description
For some reason I decided to do a screenshot redraw of one Nickelodeon's least talked shows, Kappa Mikey. I think the creator was talking about rebooting it so I did a little style play on all the characters to make them look more like different anime styles and updated Mikey to reflect current western animation.________________________________________________

Basically how i imagine Kappa Mikey would be done Nowadays:
Mikey - Loud House Style (Because Nickelodeon)
Gonard - Dragon Ball Z style when silly and JoJo style when serious.
Lily - 90's anime
Mitsuki - Modern Anime
Guano - Monster-Collecting Anime like Pokemon.
Producer Guy - 00's shounen style.
Yes Man - Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo style.
Speed Racer Guy - Speed Racer style.
They would need to hire experts in anime styles and anime history like AnimeHERO so they would consult them in order how to make this right ^_^

Guano was a smart acting yet cute creature (what ever he is XD)
Mitsuki was a bit more innocent than the others....

Guano to me, even to this Day, STILL looks like The love Child of A Pokemon, A Digimon and Amethyst from Steven Universe. I can't even make that up.

I never felt like Binge-Watching anything.
I prefer to watch one-episode per-day, but along with other shows. Usually 6-7 shows one episode per day.
That way i won't be bored ^_^

Maybe because Japan.
Back in 00's, there was a bleedin' lot of shows that were based on Anime or Anime Style itself, or simply something Asian.
I've heard of Super Duper Sumos, and Skunk-Fu. - They were based on Eastern stuff like Sumo and Kung Fu.
Ying Yang Yo - the show i watched as a kid, it had some animesque frame styles, with blurry colored backgrounds.
Also Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi - which were based on Japanese singers, and it's animation was based on Anime Chibi style, but in cartoony style.
Jackie Chan's Adventures - Clearly Anime-ifluence, if you look at the idea and cute anime-loli Jade Chan.Β Β Β Also, there was The Batman (2004) cartoon show by the same character designer, which is the most Animesque Batman show that we got.Β Β Β Not to mention that the character designer also worked on some Marvel Mangaverse comics.
Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go! - The name just sounds very much like what you can expect from Anime. And it was clearly based on 60's and 70's Anime style. There was even one Superhero team in the show that clearly looks like inspired by Gatchaman.
Avatar The Last Airbender - No commentary.
Code Lyoko - Authors admitted it.
Teen Titans - Obvious.
Shuriken School - remember this cartoon, and it has some anime influences, and characters often use japanese words.
Megas XLR, Sym-Bionic Titan, Samurai Jack - that too.
First season of Ben 10 - that too!
And lots more!
Seriously, the 00's cartoons were an Anime Era of cartoons.
Still, some modern cartoons do that too, so i guess it's inevitable XDDΒ

I miss that era; so many different style mixes and fantastic animation. Lots of great shows with a fun mix of Eastern and Western sensibilities.
Now most cartoons have that noodle arm, bean mouth, Cal Arts style. I know some people like it, I'm getting sick of it.Β Β Β
