This is a portrait drawn for an art show.Loosely based on a photograph taken by myself (yay! first time it's completely original, and i'm not giving anyone else credits

**edit2** it won 2nd place in the show (people's choice) and $200, but the money apparently goes to the art program of the school i'm now in. i mean, wtf? i'm even transfering schools...

Wow! This is just gorgeous. I love the variation in tone, from the deep shade of the hair through to the minimal detail on the shirt. Really nice piece of portrait work.
