Overall:
Blackwater is a large fluffy tom with dark fur. While he looks imposing most of his size is due to his long fur, his body is really more lean muscle than true bulk.
Build: Very fluffy, but underneath he is actually very lean and muscled but his heavy fur tends to weigh his down.

Positive Traits:
Intelligent || Blackwater prides himself on his knowledge. It is probably his most notable trait and what cats think of when they first meet him. Although he would never be the type to boast about it, he would much rather use it to benefit his clan.
Amiable || Although he is often silent Blackwater gets along well with other cats. This cannot be said for cats outside of his clan but for those that he knows he can trust the young tom is quite friendly towards.

Protective || If you are important to him the RiverClan warrior will stop at nothing to keep you safe. He is bound and determined to protect everyone that he loves and keep them here with him, especially after his mother's death.
Neutral Traits:
Cautious || Blackwater does not give up easily nor does he take decisions lightly. He will remain in the same train of thought for several days or even weeks if given the opportunity before he comes to a decision.
Dominant || Blackwater is far from a submissive type of cat. He cannot stand to not be in charge of situations and feels helpless when he cannot have a paw in the action.

Stubborn || A stubborn young cat it is very hard to sway his mind in any other direction once he has made it up. Blackwater is extremely hard to convince of certain opinions if he does not come about them himself.

Aloof || While he can be friendly with other cats you will most likely not find him surrounded by others in camp. Blackwater prefers to keep to himself and present himself as reserved and thoughtful rather than extremely outgoing. History

Kithood:

Blackkit was born to Snowshimmer and Pigeonbreeze in RiverClan. He was a playful kit like any other, sometimes a bit too rambunctious. He sprained his front left paw rather badly at only 3 moons of age and was made to stay in the medicine cat den for the remainder of his kithood and then some. The envious kit unfortunately found himself still healing under the care of RiverClan's medicine cat even as his sisters went on to become apprentices.

Not long after this Snowshimmer was found dead in a fox trap near the edge of the river. With the loss of their mother a dark cloud descended upon the entire family, cutting off bonds and relations in some places as the young cats dealt with her death in different ways. Blackkit did not speak about his mother for a long time after this. In fact, he didn't speak much at all...

Apprenticeship:

Once his paw was fully healed Blackkit was finally made Blackpaw and given Sandypath as a mentor. His sister Greypaw went on to become a medicine cat apprentice, something Blackpaw had not expected in the slightest but was silently approving and proud of his sibling all the same.

The dark grey tom was a very studious young cat and listened to his mentor, hanging on their every word and eager to soak up as much information as he could possibly keep in his head at one time. Blackpaw found that he was an exceptional fisher, but that land prey was certainly not his strong suit. He was a cat built for the water, despite his long fur. Blackpaw began to speak more during his apprenticeship but only towards those that he trusted fully. His quiet demeanor only helped to further his training however, spending much more time thinking and understanding rather than chattering away as he had previously done as a kit.

Blackpaw spent much of the last half of his apprenticeship practicing his battle training and bringing fish to the elders. He kept to himself and his own thoughts, keeping away from his family still and not wishing to burden them with his own still heavy heart.
