Description
I have been playing too much Final Fantasy X lately. I really love the art direction, the Asian flair, and all that makes the mood. So, I decided to design an outfit inspired by that art direction! I am still learning with composition, and decided to try focalizing with colors / placement this time around.Shifter would make an excellent mage. Not quite the summoner, but he certainly has the energy / life force to be a mage.
Most of it was done on livestream! This took quite a while, and I love the painting dearly. It's a personal favorite.

AAHHHH, I LOVE ALL THE DETAILS. The inscriptions on the round elements of the headgear. The fluffy and feathery nature of the feathers. The reflections in the blue gems and the color itself. The knots at the end of the cords around his left arm, so that the sleeve is tight to his arm. And I love how he stretches out the index finger of his right hand on the staff.
Damn, the shading on the staff is awesome, as it is on the other elements. I can see how his clothes fall and drape on his body. The green of his clothes complement his skin nicely, and the whole overall color scheme just looks so great. Tasteful and expensive, but not overdone - 'classy' comes to my mind.
