I'm not dead. I've been eaten by university work, and still am getting bitten to death by it. But I'm still alive. So today I figured I would loosen up and do a quick speedpaint to prove I'm not dead just yet.More high quality stuff to come as soon as I stop getting eaten alive.

Looks good, nice colours and the technique is great. My only problem is that it is very dark. It wouldnt hurt to make it a little brighter and also the signature is in an awkward spot. Signatures are typically at the bottom at a piece of art or actually in the artwork but very small. But i didnt give you any less stars for that because ive done it one to many times myself aha. One last thing, i can see the overlay on the art. its black and is really obvious. If you didn't have it your work would be allot brighter. I do see what you mean with the dark tones - it was my intention to do a blocking study on black background, hence why most of the dragon is in the shadows.

The strokes for the glow of the eyes and the trailing fire evoke the feeling as if the dragon is rearing its head or snapping around to look for intruders. With the vibrant colors, the look in his eyes and the shown emotion, this guy is screaming 'danger'.

Just going to chip in real fast. Don't listen to that Naughty hands guy. That was a bullshit review.Β This guy stole EVERYTHING he's posted on his deviant art page. I'd be careful trusting him for something like this. Good work on it though.Β
