This is a beautiful picture, I thnk you did a great job all around. What I like best about this photograph is that it looks like the flower is glowing Also, I'd say that the colors and depth of field perfectly suit this image. All in all, this is excellent work.

Thank you, I adjusted curves in photoshop for more dynamic range and contrast since digtal cameras only gives me about 6 stops of range to work with as opposed to 8 for film

luck as I would have it, the flower was growing in a shaded area but the bushes had a hole which backlit the flower, it was magical.
