Description Acrylic, marker, white-out, paper and paint swatch samples on wood. Digitally combined from 15 photographs. 2'x3'

Made as a submission for Bully Mag 02 , whose logo is the swallow. But really that's irrelevant, as I have a totally unrelated fascination with the shapes of swallows in flight. And paint samples from Home Depot.

(Artistically) patchy because I've yet to find a good way to scan in something this large.

I like the patchy look, here it can be good, since it is more graphic a work than a portrait or so

The colors are so fresh that's cool !

The idea of the negative swallow is interesting, it can be spotted easier whithin the rest.

So as to scan in big works (once did a 14-A4-scanned-pictures-combined one) you must scan every part exactly vertical and horizontal in order to put them together and avoid the dismatch like your wave in the lower right hand corner here.
Then, put them aside like you did, and to remove the visible edges of every scanned partn use the eraser in PhotoShop, with a medium opacity (36 - 40%) and try to remove them discreetly.
If it is still visible, you can do so but making a gradient of erasing from several uses to only once for example.
Since every part is a layer upon another, they will blend in each other well.

Well, I don't bother you any longer

This is really nice, and as Jamie said, it is very peaceful looking, although it is quite explosive.

The way the photos have been put together, not quite perfect, with minor differences in color, hue, and contrast, almost add to the overall look.

Accidentally artistic?
