While also known as the 8th season of the 80s Alvin and the Chipmunks TV series, I think this could've been more of a spinoff of some kind, showing the Chipmunks and Chipettes doing more spoofs of various movies.
We know that in "The Chipmunks Go to the Movies", they did the following titles-
1. Back to Our Future (spoofs "Back to the Future")
2. Bigger! (spoofs "Big")
3. Kong! (spoofs the 1976 "King Kong")
4. Batmunk (spoofs "Batman", including the 1989 film)
5. Daytona Jones and the Pearl of Wisdom (spoofs "Indiana Jones")
6. Star Wreck: The Absolutely Final Frontier (spoofs "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier")
7. Robomunk (spoofs "Robocop")
8. S.T. the Space Traveler (spoofs "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial")
9. Irrational Buffoon's European Vacation (spoofs "National Lampoon's European Vacation")
10. Chip Tracy (spoofs "Dick Tracy")
